Welcome
Greetings, Mystique.
I am Samira, a 22 year old empath. I created Thee Mystique Shop with the intention of forging a profound connection with the universe through the abundant resources of Mother Earth. My journey of self-discovery led me to explore various creative outlets, including painting, makeup, jewelry crafting, yoga, belly dance and more… Reflecting on my experiences, it was a jewelry class I attended in the 10th grade that I understood the therapeutic and self-expressive power of jewelry making.
Throughout my spiritual journey, I've unlocked inner peace and purpose, unveiling the true mystique goddess within myself. With every piece of jewelry I create, infused with divine intentions, I aim to guide you on your own path of self-discovery, for the truth has always resided within. Together we recognize our oneness with the cosmos, and realize that everything is connected.
As TheeMystiqueYogi I believe that the conversation around the African Diaspora deserves increased attention and awareness across various media platforms, and preserving its traditions and cultures is vital on a global scale. I am passionate about sharing information and perspectives on global cultures to highlight our shared humanity.
I've always had a love for creativity and dancing, which became a significant part of my life after high school. Unfortunately, I had to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic and haven't resumed since. My family and community have often felt disconnected from our cultural roots. I have been involved in cheer, dance, art, makeup and theatre, which kept my creative spirit alive.
My goal is to guide our sisters through a series of primal, hip-centered movements that are suitable for all levels and experiences. With a deep understanding of Afro-indigenous dance styles, breath work, and the healing properties of rhythm, I aim to focus on the root and sacral chakras. I envision incorporating a unique fusion of movements inspired by African Bellydance, Polynesian Ori, Black American Culture, Brazilian Funk, and Caribbean Whining, helping women feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies. I also plan to integrate a Kemetic fusion yoga flow, as I will be a certified yoga teacher by 2025.
